How to compare stablecoin yield in Europe

By Yielro · Updated

To compare stablecoin yield in Europe, start with the currency you need back, then compare the yield source, fees, risks, withdrawal conditions and your eligibility. A higher advertised APY alone does not establish a better outcome in euros. Yielro helps users compare supported EURC and USDC strategies and choose for themselves.

Start with your reference currency

EURC is designed to track the euro; USDC is designed to track the US dollar. For someone measuring their money in euros, a USDC strategy also introduces EUR/USD currency exposure. An exchange-rate movement can outweigh the yield. Neither currency choice removes stablecoin or protocol risk.

Compare the same things

Check whether a rate is a current annualised estimate, a historical average or a temporary incentive, and which costs it includes. Use observations from the same period rather than comparing a promotional maximum with an ordinary rate.

  • Identify who or what generates the yield.
  • Compare fees, currency conversion and transaction costs.
  • Check liquidity and conditions for withdrawing to your bank.
  • Read the risks, provider dependencies and eligibility requirements.

Where Yielro fits

Yielro brings supported EURC and USDC strategies together in a guided interface. Users choose their currency and strategy; a higher displayed rate does not automatically allocate their money. The public site offers early-access registration. An English page or European focus does not mean that every resident can open an account immediately. Check the current onboarding conditions.

Yield and bank savings are different products

Stablecoin lending can lose principal and does not provide the protection of a covered bank deposit. Compare this difference alongside the potential return. This guide does not rank platforms as the safest, highest yielding or best for a particular person.
